Our story

Of mountains and rivers

Vouno is a restaurant devoted to the food of mountain Greece, in Psychiko. Everything is built from the ground itself: the brown of the soil, the dull sheen of wet rock, the green of moss and lichen. Not the picture of a mountain — its matter.

Warm, tactile and deliberately a little raw. Closer to standing on the mountain than looking at it from afar.

Of mountains and rivers

A place that wants to feel earthy and considered — without falling into the obvious Greek clichés.

What defines us

Matter, kitchen, feeling

Lichen on a mountain rock

01 — The matter

Built from the ground itself

The brown of the soil, the dull sheen of wet rock, the green of moss and lichen. Vouno’s identity doesn’t show the mountain; it is made of its matter. Lichen, magnified, becomes the motif that runs through everything — from placemats to business cards.

02 — The kitchen

The food of mountain Greece

Greece is not only the sea. Vouno looks upwards: to the mountains, the rivers and their tables. Wild greens and mushrooms, slow-cooked meats, trahana, chestnut and herbs, seen through a contemporary kitchen.

03 — The feeling

Warm, tactile, a little raw

The feeling is warm, tactile and deliberately a little raw. Closer to standing on the mountain than looking at it from afar.

The palette

Colours borrowed from the rock

Three colours from the mountain itself: the gold of dry soil, the metallic grey of rock, the deep green of moss.
